Welcome to NALLOA Online

The National Auctioneer License Law Officials Association, or as it is more commonly known, NALLOA, has been in existence for almost 40 years.

Our organization serves as a forum of licensing board members and associate members, who communicate, endorse reciprocity and promote the common good in regulating the auction profession.

We constantly look for ways to improve reciprocity and make it easier to obtain and maintain a license in this manner.

About Us

The National Auctioneer License Law Officials Association, or as it is more commonly known, NALLOA, has been in existence for almost 40 years.  Our organization serves as a forum of licensing board members and associate members, who communicate, endorse reciprocity and promote the common good in regulating the auction profession.  We constantly look for ways to improve reciprocity and make it easier to obtain and maintain a license in this manner.

We originally offered membership only to licensing boards. We now, in addition to the licensing boards, offer an Associate membership. We have grown from only a handful of members to over 65 members. Membership is based on a calendar year, January 1 through December 31.  Our Associate members consist of individuals, state associations, auction schools, and companies related to the auction profession.

We provide our members with a full-time NALLOA employee who is available to answer any question pertaining to NALLOA and related subjects.  We sponsor a free educational seminar, open to all who wish to attend, each summer in conjunction with the National Auctioneer Association (NAA) Conference.  Continuing Education (CE) credits are earned for attendance at the seminar.  Along with the summer meeting, we hold a teleconference meeting every February, and all members of NALLOA are invited to take part in it at no cost to them.

We maintain an educational booth at every summer NAA Conference as well, where we provide handouts of helpful information and answer questions about our organization to all auctioneers attending the Conference.

Our website, nalloa.org, contains various information about us that can be easily accessed by the general public.

However, only NALLOA members can access the secure sections of the website. These secure sections consist of :

  • News and Updates
  • Minutes from NALLOA meetings
  • Disciplinary Action taken by Licensing Boards against their licensees
  • Rule and Law changes in our member states
  • Upcoming meeting information
  • Other clearinghouse information.

Each NALLOA member is provided with a personal ID and Password to access these secure sections. All members are provided with an annual certificate of membership. New members are always encouraged and welcome.
